Post My Introduction - 06-20-2008

Greetings!

I am about to cast off my employee shackles and become a small business owner. I have a bit of trepidation about that and need a lot of financial smarts! :-)

I have been haphazardly running a technical support and webhosting side business for a while now, and have slowly been adding more features and taking on more clients. Due to budget constraints and financial squeezing at my company, I (as well as others) have received our notice that "our services are no longer needed". I have received a two month notice.

Ack! Very scary. The good news is that I have been working diligently on my side business for quite a while and am starting to see some income, yay! My partner is in support of me going full time with my own business. I think that I have stayed sheltered within my own "comfort zone" at my job and this sort of "pushing me out of the nest" is presenting me the opportunity to break out of my comfort zone and get out there and get my company up and running.

So here I am. I've been doing lots of "crash course" learning about personal and business finance, and how to manage my finances on a business level. That is one of the reasons that I am eager to participate in this forum.

I am looking forward to the insights I'll gain while I'm here!

Sincerely,
~LissaValerian

Yeah, the economic times are really rough right now. I'd like to consider myself really resourceful and try to figure out ideas on how to make money, etc. Right now I'm doing tech support and webhosting. It's not much, but it does bring in some income. It works. I need to learn how to financially manage my business better since I'm going full time now, and It looks like I'm going to be bringing someone else on board to help me with the administrative tasks. So I'm really excited about it (and scared at the same time!)

We'll see how it goes!

Default credit card piggy bank - 07-03-2008

hello, you pretty much miss a lot of opportunity here at money castle forum as we have a lot of discussing topic about authorized user

if you have a credit card with solid credit history you can add someone to your credit card and someone get your credit history for free! simple as that but if you forget to pay one time and have late payment on your account someone will have lower credit score also
