Default Where to put mileage/tolls on Schedule C - 05-31-2008

Hi,

I drove to a seminar in another state.

Where on my schedule C do I put the mileage allowance and tolls? The instructions for the schedule C says that the travel expense (line 24a) only applies to overnight stays, but I drove to/from this seminar on the same day.

Would I put it under Other Expenses?

Would the same be true about mileage used to run business-related errands

Other expenses? are you self employee? if you are you probably file a schedule C and put all expenses on Schedule C you should deduct either standard deduction or " own deduction" I will prefer to deduct more than a standard deduction that the reason I use " own deduction" tools I don't know exactly how this is call because I am not tax expert I am financial adviser you should contact tax expert or your lawyer for advise

have you contact your local tax office for assistance?
