Default 1040 or 1040NR? - 05-29-2008
Hello,

My friend is a foreign professional working for a technology company on H1B visa with W2 form. He is not sure what forms he need to use 1040 or 1040NR becoz some people said if you are on H1B visa, you are regarded the same as US citizens and resident aliens for income tax perspective and have to use 1040. Is it true? Thanks.
