Default I have learnt from my father ... - 05-31-2008

I am just 25 years old and thinking about retirement and planning for that is too early for me ... but however I am serious about it as I dont want to live on the money of my sons ... so may be after 35 or 40 years of age I will choose some good retirement benefit plan and will deposit money monthly on them ...

I believe in savings and from early age my father taught me the art of spending and saving ... and now whatever personal thing I have ... is the result of that secret which my respected father taught me ...

And thats why I think he is living a peaceful retired life ... without taking help from their children ...

Yeah! you should. This has been faced by several people. They just depend on their sons while it seems harder for their sons themselves to manage and this results in a very tight business.

Glad to hear that Lalit. Its a big burden on the mind if you have to take money from your kids.. Financial independence is crucial even though they're yor family. Always beneficial to plan your retirement well..

it is indeed a good idea to plan for the retirement! you are 25, young but time is short, it flies! you have made a good decision; being independent, especially financially is really important in life well as far as my thoughts are concerned.. i can never expect myself to be depended on anyone, i guess i have to plan soon

I agre with that. We need to think deep about our retirement plan first. If you want to do that, make sure your funds enough to help you son almost for more than 5-10 years. If not, i believe it might be hard way to all of your family. But its just my prediction. I hope i can make one funds that only can access only from my family..
