Who will be with you?

Sometime I think about my parents. I want to roam around the world but they are getting older. They look after me till today and I need their help for few more year. I am not sure I will with them or not when they need me. I feel bad, what if I will also remain alone during my oldies day. What do you think?

I worry about this all the time. I'm not married, no kids, my parents are dead, my sister is dying of cancer, I have no other relatives and I know I will be alone once my sister dies. Both my parents were very sick and I helped take care of them until the died. Now I'm taking care of my sister. I will be alone and it scares me a lot.

Most people believe they will be alone but, with the general populace aging, I don't see a time coming when there won't be options and help for the elderly.

It might not sound ideal now, but when the time comes, you will be ready.

I try not to think about it to much.I currently am married and have a toddler.I don't want my child being forced to take care of me though.There's always someone out there even if it's not family.It may not be the best situation or one you want but it doesn't mean you will be alone either.
