When you just start you engine you should Keep your car engine tuned for few minutes and its tires inflated to their proper pressure so you will save gas. Like I call services because I thought my tire was broken but it wasn't still there were air inside!

Shop around for gas check online for pricing compare those price with different gas station and get lowest octane this may save you hundreds of dollars a year.

When driving, avoid fast start-ups and stops you can't avoid this in traffic unfortunately Over time, you will save hundreds of dollars on lower gas and maintenance costs and try to find better tricks and deals for gas!

Thanks for these wonderful tips. I have been following these since a long time and these really saved me some good amount of bucks.

The best way to save on gas is to drive on highway and avoid city traffic!

My advice, never drive more than 70 mile per hour If you want to save your fuel, drive below than that and of course change oil filter and thing about changing a car to better less fuel taking car!

Great advice Because of the high gas prices, i'm going on the bus or walking a lot more...probably good for myself to keep me fit haha.

Well ... I use public mode of transport whenever I have to take eaither short distance or long distance ... and to avoid the rush of morning office hour I used to go before half an hour so that you can reach office at time and without rush ...

I also give lift to my neigbour and also take lift from them if we are going in the same direction ... may be we have different destination but for some KMs i can save my money ...

There are so many tinny tips which is not possible to share here and may be that wont applicable on everyone ...
