To find small savings that add up to big savings over time, keep a careful record of all (and we mean all) of your expenditures for a month. You may be surprised to learn how much you are spending on such things as a daily latte or restaurant meals.

Restrain spending for birthdays and holidays, especially Christmas. A few well chosen gifts are likely to be more appreciated than a more costly pile of gifts chosen thoughtlessly in a shopping mall foray.

Two of our children have birthdays this month and we are taking them out to eat pizza for their combined birthday dinner. It's where they both want to go and we hardly ever eat out as it is. We spend $100 on each kid per birthday-there are three of them. We feel that since we have to be cheap so much during the year that their birthdays and Christmas are a time to buy them what they've been wanting, within reason.

Well. Just save as much as you can. Don't ever spend on things which you don't require.
These are just common sense thoughts and you need to think it yourself. No one can help you!

I try to cut many expense as I go! but it is very hard to cut expenses and spend less money as we have Inflation!

I will collect social security benefit and apply for many benefit from City Department of Labor, as those agency give free Insurance, food stamps, and offer you to find good job, if you have skills and I know you are smart person you can apply for new job and earn better money, if you find a job that pay $15 dollar on hour in addition you receive benefit from social security office, and you get a tax brake from your local town office in addition you receive free Insurance and food stamps you should be fine!

Some of the tips will require a time investment. I always consider this when choosing which tips to implement. Make a list of a few that will work for you and commit yourself to making them work.

Possibilites:

Giving up soda
Switching to non-disposable items (plates, napkins, cups)
Packing Your Lunch
Unplugging Unused Devices
Grow Your Own Food
Use Less (Soap, shampoo, etc.)

These definitely things that I do. For example:

-STOP GOING OUT TO EAT! (BIG ONE!)
-BUY GENERICS (in foods, medicines and such like that)
-ALWAYS BUY ON SALE!
-TURN OFF ALL UNUSED ELECTRICITY
-PUT YOUR COMPUTER and other items on a power strip and turn the power strip off when you leave the room.
-whatever temperature you're used to having the AC on, turn it up a few degrees and then use fans to cool the room. You'll not notice too much of a difference, but it will save your electric bill. Just make sure that you turn the fan off when you leave the room because the fan doesn't keep the room cool, it just cools your skin.

Wash your clothes in cold water only.

And surprisingly, there are recipes out there for making your own laundry detergent. Thats the ultimate in cheap. :-) I've made several batches of laundry detergent and it's as good as store bought without all the harsh chemicals. Just do a search for home made laundry soap. You'd be surprised. There are some great ways to be frugal!
