Some of the tips will require a time investment. I always consider this when choosing which tips to implement. Make a list of a few that will work for you and commit yourself to making them work.
Possibilites:
Giving up soda
Switching to non-disposable items (plates, napkins, cups)
Packing Your Lunch
Unplugging Unused Devices

These definitely things that I do. For example:
-STOP GOING OUT TO EAT! (BIG ONE!)
-BUY GENERICS (in foods, medicines and such like that)
-ALWAYS BUY ON SALE!
-TURN OFF ALL UNUSED ELECTRICITY
-PUT YOUR COMPUTER and other items on a power strip and turn the power strip off when you leave the room.
-whatever temperature you're used to having the AC on, turn it up a few degrees and then use fans to cool the room. You'll not notice too much of a difference, but it will save your electric bill. Just make sure that you turn the fan off when you leave the room because the fan doesn't keep the room cool, it just cools your skin.
Wash your clothes in cold water only.
And surprisingly, there are recipes out there for making your own laundry detergent. Thats the ultimate in cheap. :-) I've made several batches of laundry detergent and it's as good as store bought without all the harsh chemicals. Just do a search for home made laundry soap. You'd be surprised. There are some great ways to be frugal!
