Litigation mistakes occur for many reason in a lawsuit you need to take a time to educate yourself before you file a lawsuit because it may cost you money to cover all those expenses if something goes wrong!. It does not matter if you file a lawsuite and suit a huge corporation like a CitiBank or small company it the same court so make sure you prepare yourself !
Not hiring an attorney. Once a lawsuit has been filed, you will have to deal
with a myriad of issues relating to the case itself, including procedural issues for litigation, timing issues, evidence issues, and the trial itself. Litigation is complicated, expensive, and stressful. If you are not up to handling all of these issues yourself, it may be a mistake not to have hired an attorney to represent you.
Ligitation Mistake
1. Not being well prepared. Bring a eyewitness, with a good proff, you need to prove your case to someone else the judge or jury. Be polite, courtenous, and respectfull to all parties, including the judge, jury, court personnel , your witnesses opposing counsel, the opposing party, and opposing witnesses.
2. You need to follow a local and state or federal rules. Remeber every state has its own rules and procedures governing litigation whenever the litigation take a place you need to know a state rules and regulation!
3. Never be late and take attention to deadlines if you miss a deadlines you losing the trial itself. You should familiarize yourself with all timing and deadlines.
4. Make sure you know what your witness will tell in court otherwise you may have not controversial opposite reaction and remeber you need to estabolish and provide each and every element of you case including damages, becuase if you dont providing damages for your case only providing liability you may be in big trouble!
5. Always say true and only true because courth or defendent lawyer may ask you a tricky question and if you dont know answear mean you are lying! and if you lying how can they believe you that you saying true in other case?
