Default Moving in with someone to save money? - 06-28-2008

Have you ever thought about taking on tennants or a roommate to save money?

It's not something I would do especially with family or friends.I feel it causes problems but I know people that have done this and had things go ok too.Sometimes I don't think it helps a situation any.I think you may only break even with added expenses and not really cut the cost of the ones you have by doing so.What's your take on this?

Default great idea to live with friends! - 06-29-2008

I uses to have a friend living with my apartment when I was young to save money this is good idea, because you share expenses and space, but if you renting a house and have a lot of room why not to share at least 2 room to cut your expenses and saving money?

Also you have somebody that you can do relationship go to shopping, movies , social connection is great!

So you are living on College campus or you have rent your own house, I know how hard is to living with roommate because it is limit of privacy! because you want to do something other and your friend want to do also something other and there is always some misunderstanding. I know how college life look like as I have graduate from many different college and I am currently unemployment

I have had tenants for a long time. I have a spare room near the front of the house and I try to keep it rented out. For the most part I have done fairly well, because it's been through friends or aquaintances. I've only had one "bad seed" and I kicked him out right away.

It has saved me tremendously!
