Default Insurance for car - 06-14-2008

I have a problem with a current insurance company because I want to buy new car today nissan murano and my old insurance company say that they will not transfer my current insurance because I still own them a money and I told them that I will pay them once they transfer to new insurance company but they refuse to transfer insurance policy, As I have now new insurance company and I don't want to stick with old insurance company what I can do it this case? I don't know much about insurance and that the reason I ask a question

I have too encountered this problem. Since, you have switched to a new insurance company then the only thing left to do is pay off the balance with the old company or it will go into collections.

All companies want to be paid what they are owed and have the right to prevent your changing companies until you are paid up.

If they didn't, you could keep promising them their m oney and never pay them!

Make arrangements with them and get them paid off!

You cant be very clever. If you have new in surence company then you must pay to the old one.
