Default Shredding financial info - 06-13-2008

Do you make sure to shred your important information? We don't put any papers out that are financially, medically, or have any SSN and indentifying info on.We make sure to shred them.If we don't shred them we take them to our grandparents on a day when they're burning and we have them burn them so now one else will rummage through the trash.

Are you careful to shred your paperwork? If you don't what do you do with it?

I shred everything. If I am in a place where I don't have a shredder available but need to destroy something immediately, I will tear it up and spread the pieces throughout several trash bins (even carrying some pieces home if I have to). You can never be too careful!

I just hope, when i need them, i can find it easily.

If you keep everything then someday you will get overwhelmed with unnecessary paper work. I shred everything that I don't need to keep or think I don't need to keep.

There are some pieces of mail that I shred without even opening them. Offers from credit card companies usually fall into that category!
