I have receive today a notice from Etrade that Etrade will charge me $1 dollar for each time I sell or buy a stock, for each commission I spend and I want a letter confirmation of my transaction this is ridiculous! If I subscribe only not to receive paper confirmation I can view confirmation only totally free.. so probably I will view my confirmation online as I don't want to waste $20 dollar for free..

It not worth to have transaction statement send to your house because you have to spend $1 dollar each time in addition you still need to have online version for tax purpose! so why people receiving paper statement?

Anyone switch from paper statement to online version statement?

I have Etrade account and my 3 friends also have etrade account they are very happy because etrade offer advance level trading platform!!

btw: I always get confirmation online when I trade buy or sell stock! it is much cheaper!

I have never receive E-trade statement confirmation by mail because I don't want to waste $1 dollar each time I make a trade.. it a $1 dollar so add those dollars each time and you will come up with $100 dollar.. 100 trades.. what if you trade 500 times a year.. it extra $500 dollar waste in papers..

So why not to receive e-statement hassle free convenient fast and more effective and of course more efficient as it save you money!
