Employment & Credit Check

A friend of mine recently applied for a promotion, her employer asked for information so she could do a credit check. I asked a couple of co-workers if this is legal and it is. A credit check can tell a employer if you are responsible and reliable.

Recently In my area more and more employers are doing credit checks and on the employment application you have to to check that it is okay for them to do that. I guess it is the times we live in.

Always ask what they will be looking at, and why.

Often, employers do this when it isn't necessary. Be sure that YOU look at your credit report before you apply for a job that will look. That way, you will know what is there.

If you are turned down for the position, ask what information was used to make the decision.

That is incredible. That doesn't seem legal. Wow It just seems very personal and unrelated. Yikes!

i have being doint the credit card check from past 2 years its a very easy work we have to just employment form .
