One of my friends has applied for a loan recently and has other finance with 3 different companies. This time around they say she has no credit history. How can she find out what has happened?

For this you will have to ask her to take her recent CC bills and some proof of her income and stuff and show it to the bank she is going to apply for loan.
This may solve the problem.

See you have not mentioned that did she get any confirmation call or letter from the bank that her loan is granted or not.
With out that is it not possible to answer this thread. And if she is got then as bhushna22 said give a call and ask them what had happened.

When your friend apply for a credit card a creditor check credit rating in all 3 credit report agency, Tranunion, Equifax and Experian you should be aware of all those 3 agency you need to have at least 6 month of credit history in order to apply for a loan any loan even a student or private loan require your to have at least 700 fico score.. with mean good credit score!
