Default Student loan interest rates? - 07-03-2008

I want to find out if this is good time to borrow money for my son education, Stafford loan interest rates dropped from 6.80% to 6.00 should I take subsidized loans or wait for better interest rates?

On July 1, important changes went into effect for undergraduate Stafford loans. The interest rate dropped from 6.80% to 6.00% for subsidized loans and loan limits were increased. Students can now borrow $2,000 more in unsubsidized funds on top of their base amount. With a low fixed rate, it is important to maximize your Stafford Loan award.
° No payments until after graduation
° Fixed rate as low as 6%
° Easy online application process

Do you thing that on the end of summer interest rates will be lower?

Default FAFSA application - 07-04-2008

6% on student loan.. that not bad you should also apply at fafsa.edu.gov and obtain fee fafsa application there! once you fill out application you can apply for student loan but you should receive free grant, pell grant or state or education grant! or apply for scholarship when you are good student and have good grade

How much money you have to spend for your school?

Default Interest rates deferral - 07-05-2008

As you know first apply for Fafsa then fafsa will determine if you even qualify. All banks will tell you the same that you need to file fafsa in order to see if you qualify for loan ! . Once you get approved fafsa will give you money. Fafsa may give you free money as Pell grant, state grant, school grant, or borrow you money in load.. take subsidize loan! and you want to make sure that those loan have interest rates deferral!
