Default how credit card process work! - 07-05-2008

First you should know one thing, steps by steps how credit card work, once those transaction take place, you have authorized merchant to take certain amount of dollars from your credit card account. It call Authorization process- so how authorization process work?

Cardholders ( with is you customer) pays for the purchase and the merchant( with is ATT in this case) submits the transaction the the acquire( acquiring bank) . then Acquire bank verifies the credit card number to make sure that this credit card number is correct and active, the transaction type and the amount the issuer( credit card company)
and reserves that amount of the cardholder's ( with is you) credit limit for the merchant. An authorization will generate an approval code, which the merchant stores with the transaction and this transaction take effect mean this transaction is complete!
