Grace Period on credit card

I want to find out what is grace period on credit card and how grace period on credit card work? I don't know lot about finance and credit card so please understand if this is just a basic question

You should understand basic 101 about credit card before applying for credit card, Grace period is simple time between you receive statement( not in the mail ) but just statement date and due date, when you have to pay for your credit card. You should remember that you have to pay balance during grace period otherwise interest rates will be charge to your account.

Grace periods change ( vary) depend on credit card issuer , but usually range from 20 to 30 days and also depend on your credit score as I say depending on the type of credit card and the issuing bank.
