I think late 50's to mid 60's is a good age to plan to retire.Though I don't know if it will happen for us.I had co-workers that were in there 60's working to make ends met.I even had one coworker that was in her 70's and working still. She needed extra money to make it.They were very open with me about things.I talked to all of these ladies alot. They were all wonderful. One lady and her husband had to move due to driving, gas cost *this was almost 2 years ago now* and they ended up selling their house and moving to a place smaller and closer. It was all in need to cut expenses and both her husband and her health weren't good at various times. When this lady missed one or two days of work and was out of sick days it would hurt them financially. They would have to see if they could even get medicines they needed for the week.

It's sad.I mean that was already 2 years ago and with SS funds running out who knows how any of us will make it and if we will be lucky enough to retire before we physically aren't able to or before we die.
