I think that you have it all wrong. the fuss with the interest rate is happening because of the subprime mortgages going down the drain. it is only with our best interest that Federal Reserve Bank is changing the rates. I am also confused with the interest rates changing so often, but there is no other option with all the subprime lenders and so on.
